A loan of $475 helped to buy satin, polyester, silk, lace and different colored threads for making her clothes.

Maria Adilia's story

María is a woman who is devoted to her work through which she supports her children, most of whom are now married. María works as a dressmaker, a trade that she learned in her youth and which has helped her to support her family. Her husband works as a builder and both of them work together so that in order to cover their expenses. María does sewing for other people and she makes clothes to sell. She mostly makes girls' clothes as they sell the best.

Through loans, María has managed to increase her production as she used to have little capital with which to work. Now she is buying more styles, colors and a wider variety of fabric. This is useful for her and enables her to increase her level of sales.

María will use this new loan to buy satin, silk, polyester, lace and different colored threads to make her clothes.
