A loan of $2,800 helped a member to buy balanced animal feed.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The women of this committee are from the Comandante Ojeda neighborhood of the city of Atyra which is 19km from our Caacupé regional office.

The committee's president is Mrs Sara Noelia A.. She raises chickens and lives with her husband, who is an employee in a company, and her two children who are students. She is a very selfless and humble woman who is devoted to her family and to her small business which helps support her household.

Sara has an established customer base and she would like to choose another type of business in addition to her current one so that she can continue to improve her quality of life. She is very satisfied with the support she is being given by Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva, not only through the loans but also through the training sessions and advisory sessions. She is requesting this loan to buy feed for her animals and to cover the costs of keeping them healthy.
