Mrs. Oun S., 33, lives with her husband and one child in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia. She runs a stand at home selling vegetables and dried yam, earning on average about $2/day of profit, while her husband works for a private company as a driver and generally makes around $5/day. Mrs. Oun S. has recently applied for a loan to purchase a motorcycle to assist in her business transportation and the leftover of the money is to expand her inventory. She believes the motor-bike will not only help to save her family from extra expenses, but it can make her business more productive, faster and effective.
