Ulziiburen's story

Ulziiburen S. is 37 years old and lives with her husband and two sons in her sister's house in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. Both of her sons attend a secondary school, while her husband operates a meat trading business after having sold their house. Ulziiburen operates both a dairy products and a newspaper trading business in a rented stall at the grocery shop next to the bus station of Bayanzurh district.

In 2000, after moving from the countryside, she started her business by selling a variety of goods in Narantuul, Ulaanbaatar's largest and main market. After many years of operation, she has built a stable and successful operation. For the future, Ulziiburen plans to have her own grocery shop. A modest and open-minded person who says, “All I want is to have our own apartment where my family can live in a comfortable space, ” she is requesting a 3,000,000 MNT loan in order to purchase more dairy products and fruits to sell at her stall for profit.
