Elizabeth lives in the Plan 3000 neighborhood in her parents' house. She embroiders sandals with colored stones and other decorations. Though she is young, she is a responsible, proactive person who sells her sandals by the dozen and also by the pair. She sells her wares at the Barrio Lindo market, a very commercial fair that is only held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, which gives her time to finish her embroidery work before each fair. She learned this trade three years ago.

This is her second loan from Emprender. She needs the money to increase her merchandise by buying sandals, colored stones, pearls and thread, since this is the season in which she sells the most due to the hot weather.
