A loan of $500 helped buy basic grocery items and cookies.

Yuly Veronica's story

Mrs. Yuly has a store located close to Emprender's branch office. Her family is made up of four people: her husband Bismark, a 4-year-old son and a 2-year-old daughter. Her husband works at a company in the city of El Alto, and she has a neighborhood store in a rented space. She is a very enterprising woman, and her store is near a popular gathering place, which helps her sales since every time there is a party she sells lots of drinks and sweets.

She is requesting a loan to buy merchandise, which is why she is requesting Kiva funding. She would like to buy basic grocery items, cookies, and drinks in order to offer a wider variety of products at her store. She is a very hard-working person and is grateful to Emprender for supporting her.
