Mr. Yamoussa D. is 27 years old, married, and without any children.  He resides with his wife in Sanoubougou I, one of the working-class districts in Sikasso City (3rd administrative region of the Republic of Mali). After having operated many businesses unsuccessfully, he got introduced to sewing as a business in 2002.  His tailoring shop is found in front of his home in Sanoubougou I, where he already has four machines, including an embroidering machine and three simple sewing machines.  

Mr. D. is in high demand by his customers for the quality of his services. Concerned about further satisfying his burgeoning customer base, he decided to join the micro-finance institution Soro Yiriwaso and is now on his second loan.   He plans on using this loan for buying an embroidering machine in order to respond to his customers better.

With this loan, he envisions making a monthly profit of 100,000 francs CFA that will be used essentially to increase his business capital, to help with family expenses, and to pay the loan interest.

Monsieur Yamoussa D. après avoir mené beaucoup d’activités sans succès, s’est initié à cette activité de couture depuis l’année 2002. Son atelier de couture se trouve devant son domicile à Sanoubougou I où il dispose déjà de 4 machines dont une machine de broderie et trois machines de couture simples. Monsieur D. est beaucoup sollicitée de sa clientèle pour la qualité de ses services.
Dans le souci de mieux satisfaire sa clientèle de plus en plus croissante, Il décida d’intégrer l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso avec qui il est à son deuxième prêt., qu’il compte utiliser pour acheter une machine de broderie afin de mieux répondre aux attentes de sa clientèle.
Il envisage réaliser avec ce prêt un bénéfice mensuel de 100 000 FCFA qui sera utilisé essentiellement pour augmenter son fonds de commerce, contribuer aux dépenses familiales et payer les intérêts de son prêt.
