María is 52 years old. She is married and lives with her family in the village of Huaca de Barro, in Mórrope district, an agricultural area in Lambayeque province, more than one hour from the city of Chiclayo.

María works in farming together with her husband. They both own a plot of land near the area they live in. There they grow grains and cereals. They use the income that they make from this business to get their family ahead financially.

They would currently like to plant corn on their land. They have already prepared the land and they would like to begin sowing. In order to acquire the fertilizers and supplies that they need and achieve their goal, they are requesting a loan for 2,000 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa.
