A loan of $725 helped to buy products to expand the small grocery store she has in her home.

María Ilda's story

María Ilda is 55 years old. She is married and lives with her family in San José district, a fishing area in Lambayeque province which is more than twenty minutes from the city of Chiclayo.

María Ilda has a small grocery store in her home where she offers her customers essentials and groceries at reasonable prices and provides them with good service. She also sells office supplies and school supplies during the school season. Her business is quite popular in the area and it allows her to help her husband to get the family ahead.

María Ilda would like to expand her business so that she can better respond to demand. She is requesting a loan for 2,000 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa to help her achieve her goal.
