Fatuma's story

Fatuma is a married woman with two children, both of whom attend school. She owns a house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is clothing.

She has operated a vegetable stall business for the past year, selling from home to her neighbours and passersby. Fatuma faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business. She hopes to establish a retail shop in the future.

With the Kshs 25,000 she wants to purchase green vegetables, fruit, and coconuts. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to improve her business.
