A loan of $1,200 helped to buy memory sticks and frames.

Javier Agustin's story

Javier is 35 years old. He has been a responsible father since he had his first child with his wife, who is a housewife. He has been working as a photographer at parties and events as his father taught him to take photos from an early age.

Javier has been an events photographer for 11 years, making contracts for parties, school events, weddings, etc. He has his photography studio in his home where he produces his photos and portraits. He currently has a list of regular customers who request his services. As he lives in a peri-urban area which is noted as being one of the most dangerous in Guayaquil, owing to the crime level there, he cannot do his work effectively because he has bought professional cameras for his work and thieves are always hanging around.

To continue doing his work efficiently, he would like to use his loan to buy memory sticks and frames for his photos. With another part of his money, he would like to buy cement and blocks to better build his house and make it safe. One of his goals is to have premises for his photography business and to finish building his house.
