A loan of $1,175 helped a member to purchase goods to sell.

Zumrathan's Group's story

Zumrathan A., 43, is the leader of this group. She is a widow and is raising two daughters and a son. Both the children are in school.

In order to earn money to cover family expenditures, Zumrathan sells convenience goods and earns 5000 soms per month. This profit made it possible for her to make house repairs. She hopes to obtain the loan because she needs money to purchase more goods to sell in order to increase the turnover of her business. In the future Zumrathan wants to expand her business, and provide her children a good education.
