Mr. Toem Ten Village Bank Group's story

In Trapeang Ta Moung village, Takeo province there are eighteen people who are made up a village bank loan group. They have selected Mr. Toem T. to become a village bank president. They will use their portion of the loan for different purposes which can improve their family living standard.
Mr. Toem T. is a farmer who owns a small piece of land where he grows rice to sell to support his family. His wife, Mrs. Chy Khoem, owns a general store in the local village where she is able to earn a profit to support the family. Since his wife’s business is going well, he wants to expand its sales.
