A loan of $1,075 helped to buy more vitamin products.

Lourdes's story

Lourdes is 43 years old. She lives with her husband and two children in a house belonging to family members. She has been selling alfalfa for 20 years. She leases land cultivated with alfalfa and takes the product to sell to traders retail. However, she has also been selling vitamin supplements for a year. She sells them in the mornings after she has sold her alfalfa. This business has allowed her to have an extra income for her family since there is a lot of demand amongst the people in her community. When she makes a profit from selling these vitamin products she will invest it so that she can lease another plot of land cultivated with alfalfa.

This is Lourdes' 9th loan with MFP. She is very happy to know that she has financial support and she likes being part of her community bank because all its members are responsible people who are very supportive of each other. She is grateful to the people who will help fund her loan since it will be very useful to her in making progress in her business. She will invest her loan in buying vitamin products.
