A loan of $725 helped to buy materials to restore the infrastructure of her farm.

Carmen's story

Carmen, age 52, lives with her husband and her daughter in her own house. For one year she has been selling chickens that she raises. She has a farm on a piece of land close to her house. She periodically sells these animals at the fairs. Her earnings are managed by a trustworthy relative, who has become her partner.

With time the chicken sales have been increasing because she takes great care in taking care of the chickens. Later, she wishes to expand her farm and increase the breeding of these animals.

This is her 14th loan with MFP. She is very happy to know that she has financial support. Also, it pleases her to be part of her communal bank because all of the members are responsible and very supportive people. She is grateful to all of the people who will be the lenders of the loan she is requesting. It will be very useful to the progress of her business. She will use the loan she is requesting to improve the infrastructure of her farm.
