A loan of $750 helped purchase materials, bricks, and cement to sell at her hardware store.

Faustina's story

Faustina is a member of the Communal Bank “Imperios” (Empires). She is 38 years old, married, and has three children (ages 16, 12, and 7).

Faustina manages a hardware store. She learned about this business from a friend. With initial capital of 300 PEN, she began selling on the street in Jr. Grau. She is now in a rented location in Enace. On one occasion she was robbed, but she has been recovering little by little. The loan she is requesting will be invested in the purchase of materials to restock her hardware store.

Faustina enjoys the Communal Bank meetings because she is able to save. Her dreams include buying a car so that she can deliver construction materials and seeing her children become professionals.
