Mrs. Chhorn Y., 40, is married with six married children and lives in a part of Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. To supplement her family, she runs a stand at home selling various kinds of grocery products to the people in her area, earning on average around $2.40/day in revenue. Her husband works purchasing rice crops from growers or farmers and he then grinds it for the outputs to sell to a broker. Mrs. Chhorn Y. hopes a loan will help her to expand her inventory by adding more products to meet her client needs and the remainder is to buy more rice seeds for her husband to keep expanding his business.
