A loan of $375 helped purchase pigs.

Yecenia's story

Yecenia is 31 years old and lives with her four children in her own home.

For more than seven years, she has sold pigs. She buys them and raises them in her home. She prefers to buy females because they can be bred, and then the offspring can be sold at markets in her area. She considers this a profitable business because the pig's reproductive cycle is fast and they reproduce in a large quantity. In addition, she also works as a salesclerk so she can earn more income.

She would like to improve her stable and increase the number of pigs she owns. This is her second loan with MFP and she is very happy to know that she has financial support. She is happy to be part of her community bank because all of the members are responsible and supportive people. She is thankful to all of the people who will make this loan possible because it will be very useful to the progress of her business.

With this loan, she will purchase more pigs and increase her capital.
