Tianoh/go Forward Group's story

Bendu G., who is holding the sign, is the leader of this group of five borrowers called Tianoh/Go Forward. She is 36 years old, married, and has three children who are between the ages of 10 to 2 years. She was only able to attend school through 5th grade due to financial constraints.

For 20 years, she has been selling pepper, palm oil, rice, salt, etc. in Barnesville, outside of Monrovia, Liberia. She plans to use her 25,000 Liberian Dollars portion of this 48,000 Liberian Dollars group loan to buy more pepper, palm oil, rice, salt, etc.

She describes herself as a hardworking woman whose goals are to improve her business and build a house.
