Aurora's story

Aurora A. is from the village of Olango. She is 53 years old. Aurora is married and has 3 adult children. To make a living, Aurora plants, harvests, and sells rice. Aurora has been engaged in her business for over 15 years and earns approximately 9000 PHP a month from these activities.

In 2008, Aurora joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Aurora has successfully repaid a previous loan of 35,000 PHP from ASKI. This previous loan was used to purchase fertilizers, such as manure. Aurora is requesting a new loan of 35000 PHP which will be used to purchase fertilizers, such as manure. This loan will be the 6th loan taken out by Aurora from ASKI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve/expand her business.
