Minerva is a member of the communal bank "Las Almendras" in the Ucayali department. She is 22 years old, married, and has a young child. Her husband works as a merchant. She has been a member of this group for only 1 year.

Minerva helps her husband with a store that is set up in their home. Thanks to this business she is able to care for her child, who still needs close attention. Over the short time she has been with the Manuela Ramos organization she has invested her loans in her store.
