Camila's story

Camila is a member of the Loreto community bank which is located in Ucayali department. She is 29 years old, married, and has one child.

Camila set up her business with only a small amount of capital. She has been receiving loans from Manuela Ramos for 5 years. Each one has been invested in her small grocery store which becomes better stocked every day.

Camila will use this new loan for 3,000 Peruvian soles to buy 5 boxes of different styles of panettone, 10 boxes of bars of chocolate, 3 boxes of milk, 1 box of jam and also some toys so that she can better stock her store during the Christmas and end-of-year season.

Camila's store is located in her own home which means that she can also care for her child. Her husband is a salesman and together the couple are making progress.

Camila is quite happy because, thanks to the loans from Manuela Ramos, she can invest in her business and also save.
