Gladys de 60 años, tiene una tienda de víveres de productos de primera necesidad. Vive en una zona periurbana en la perimetral de Guayaquil rodeada de un estero.

Cuando cumplió 50 años decidió tener su tienda en su casa para asegurar la vejez ya que es separada de su esposo. Tiene su tienda en la casa y trabaja desde las 08h00am hasta 21h00pm. Vende arroz, azúcar, bebidas, enlatados en su tienda de víveres. Con el préstamo ella quiere comprar arroz, azúcar, bebidas.

En el futuro quiere agrandar mas su negocio y construir mejor su casa para asegurar su vejez y ayudarle a sus hijos con sus gastos.
