A loan of $375 helped to buy small farm animals and nutritionally balanced feed for them.

Ana Elizabeth's story

Ana, 37, is a mother living with her husband and children in the agricultural zone, Oyotún, which is located over an hour and a half from the city of Chiclayo. For ten years Ana has raised small farm animals and barnyard fowl. She raises these animals in the back yard of her home and sells to the general public once they reach ideal development. Occasionally she sells them at a livestock fair that takes place once a week in the neighboring Cayaltí district. Income from these sales is used to help her husband support the family. She wants to enlarge the business buying more animals and nutritionally balanced feed for them because during this time of year demand increases. To reach this goal she needs to request a 1000 new sol loan from Edpyme Alternativa.
