A loan of $550 helped to buy nutritionally balanced animal feed.

Casinaldo's story

Casinaldo, 42, is married and lives with his family in Santa Isabel in the farming district of Olmos, a place located over two hours from the city of Chiclayo.

Casinaldo raises small farm animals, specifically sheep. He has been in this occupation for over three years now. He raises the sheep in a corral in the rear of his house. When they have reached a good level of development he sells them to merchants who come by the area where he lives. Income from the sales is used to support the family.

Casinaldo wants to expand the business acquiring nutritionally balanced feed so that the sheep will develop better and be sold at a better price. To do so he has requested a 1500 new sol loan from Edpyme Alternativa.
