A loan of $975 helped working capital.

Zeneyda Gerardina's story

Zeneyda Gerardina, age 44, is married and has four children. The children are 16, 18, 20, and 22 years old. Her husband is the proprietor of a print shop. She has a business in her house, and she sells groceries. Her business is pretty big and well stocked. She has had it for 23 years.

It is worth mentioning that she started this business through her own initiative and with her own capital. She started as a small vendor, and as time passed she reinvested. That way the business was constantly growing. She also says that her business has grown because it has been personally managed by members of her family, and she does not give much credit.

She is requesting this loan to buy merchandise to attain sales this Christmas and to buy more inventory.

Her dream for the moment is to simply maintain her business in the market and to be able to provide sustenance for herself and her family.
