Dios Es Mi Pastor 4 & 5 Group's story

Yolene is one of the members of the Group Dios es mi pastor 4 & 5 (God is my shepherd), located in the city of San Pedro de Macoris, where the primary economic activities are commerce, industrial cement plants, and household and cosmetic products. This city, like many others in the Dominican Republic, has a shortage of drinking water and electricity and is populated by Dominicans and Haitian immigrants. Yolene sells clothes, such as blue jean, skirts, shirts, shoes, and t-shirts. With this new loan, she is planning to invest in clothing.

Yolene is very excited to receive her fifth loan from Esperanza International, after having successfully repaid her previous loans and thus having taken a step towards expanding her business. Her challenges are raising and educating her four children. She lives with them and her long-term partner. She is planning to reinvest her profits in her business, since there will be a lot of demand for her products. Yolene's dream is to improve business.

In this group: Yolene, Ana, Eleile, Adelina, Luciana, Elcie, Marie, Yermena, Clavir, Cesilin
