Dios Es Mi Pastor 1, 2 & 3 Group's story

Susana is one of the members of the Group Dios es mi pastor 1, 2 & 3 (God is My Shepherd), located in the city of San Pedro de Macoris, where the primary economic activities are commerce, industrial cement plants, and household and cosmetic products. This city, like many others in the Dominican Republic, has a shortage of drinking water and electricity and is populated by Dominicans and Haitian immigrants. Susana sells miscellaneous products in her business, such as clothing, shoes, cosmetics, accessories, etc. With this new loan, she is planning to invest in more of these products since there is a lot of demand for her items at this time of the year.

Susana is very excited to receive her sixth loan from Esperanza International, after having successfully repaid her previous loans, having thus taken a step towards expanding her business. She tells us that her challenge is to work hard in order to turn her business into a successful store. She enjoys being at home with her long-term partner and 5 children. She is planning to reinvest her profits in the business, since there will be a lot of demand for her products. Her dream is to see all her children become professionals and good people.

In this group: Susana, Eliana, Marie, Valerie, Diona, Yfenia, Carina, Cesar, Albide, Albide, Solene, Marie, Malouise, Joelle, Esterline
