Janepher's story

Janepher has been mixed farming and employing two farmhands in her hometown of Kitale in Western Kenya for over ten years.She is married with six children aged between twenty four and nine years. Her produce of milk, vegetables and tomatoes are sold locally.

She has requested for this loan of 48,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to purchase and maintain a dairy cow .She had once requested a first time loan of 30,000 KES. She says the milk produce will act as food supplement for the family and also pay for the children's school fees. She is optimistic that she will soon have a mini-chilling plant to store the milk and avoid wastage.

She says diseases are a major problem and eats into her income since the animals must be treated.She recommends Juhudi loans because of their flexibility.
