A loan of $1,050 helped a member to repair a rickshaw.

Sahibzadi's Group's story

Sahibzadi lives in the small city of Vehari, Pakistan, known for its agriculture industry. She lives with her family in a 2-room brick house in the area of 39-WB. She came here 10 years ago. Her husband, G. R., is a daily wage laborer. Shahzadi also supports her husband by working at labor jobs. She also manages her home very well by carrying out her responsibilities. She doesn’t have any children.

Sahibzadi has applied for a loan from Kiva's partner Asasah for her brother who is a rickshaw driver. He provides transportation services to his passengers and drops them off at their designated places. Currently, his rickshaw needs maintenance because its engine is creating problems which don't allow him to run it for long hours. With the fully repaired rickshaw, he can continue his work and provide the best transportation services to his passengers.

Sahibzadi is a regular lender with Asasah and this is her 3rd loan application. In previous loan years, she has maintained good credit behavior and never missed a meeting. Note: In the photo, Sahibzadi is raising her hand.
