Prum's story

Prum S., 29, is married and resides with her husband and two children in Takeo Province, Cambodia, an area known for its pre-Angkorean temples. S. sells desserts, earning an income of about USD 3 per day. Her husband is employed as a local primary school teacher, earning an income of USD 3 per day. S. has to spend USD 11 on food, USD 10 on electricity and water supplies, and USD 20 on other necessary expenses every month. S. is requesting a loan of USD 1000 to purchase pigs and chickens to raise. In the future, she would like to use any additional profits to repair her house. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
