Jose is thirty-three years old. He is married and he lives with his wife and their two children in the small town of Yencala Boggiana near the city of Lambayeque. It is a rural area which is primarily populated by small farmers of animals.

For three years, Jose has raised animals in the yard behind his home. He raises ducks, chickens, turkeys and other animals. He also works as a stevedore for a local private company, where he earns a stable salary. Jose’s wife is a seamstress. She sews for local families and also produces clothing for sale in the markets.

The requested loan will be used to purchase additional animals and feed in order to expand the family's livestock business. They hope to be able to increase their income and assets so as to better provide for the education of their children. Jose is dedicated to the success of his children and works hard every day to ensure that their future is bright.
