Maria's story

María is 58 years old, she lives with her husband and their children in their own house. For more than 20 years she has been selling wool as well as babies’ clothes. Her selling stall is located in a small market close to her house. Since then she tends to her customers every morning, and sometimes one of her daughters help her in tending to the customers. During this time she has reputed convenient to increase the sale of cloths bearing decorations for babies and children, as well as some articles and toys for infants. In this way her activity has become more profitable, and this encourages her to keep on working. This is her 18th loan with MFP: she is very happy to know she can count on financial support, and on top of this she likes being a part of her communal bank because she knows all of its members, who are very responsible and caring people. She is thankful to all the people who will manage the loan she has asked for, as this will be very useful in making her activity grow. The loan she is requesting will be used to buy more products, in order to increase her earnings.
