A loan of $550 helped to buy more greens and root vegetables to stock her business.

Clara's story

Clara is 43 years old. She shares her life with her husband and her four children. They live together in their own home. Clara has been selling vegetables in a small market in her town for more than 12 years. She makes her sales every morning up until midday. However, her day's work always begins early in the morning because she has to stock up with fresh vegetables early every day when the wholesalers are distributing to retailers. Clara's products sell easily because customers always require vegetables to prepare their meals. For this reason, her business is profitable. She manages to make enough money to support her family and re-invest in her work. For this reason, she will continue working on her market stall and hopes to expand her business even further.

This is Clara's 18th loan with MFP. She is very happy to know that she has financial support and likes being a member of her community bank because all the members are responsible and very supportive of each other. She is grateful to the people who will fund her loan as it will be very useful to her in making progress in her business. She will invest her loan in buying more greens and root vegetables to stock her business.
