A loan of $725 helped to buy stock items for her store.

Marina's story

Marina, 44, is married and lives with her family in Laynas, a rural area of La Matanza district that is part of Morropón district in Piura region over two and a half hours away from the city of Chiclayo, Lambayeque region’s capital.

Marina has a small grocery store installed in her home where she stocks various daily consumption items among which are first need items and groceries. Her business is well received by residents in the area because it is far from city center since it’s a rural zone. Income from this activity helps her husband support the family economy.

She wants to acquire more products to widen her stock because of the approaching
Christmas season which is when demand for products increases. She has, therefore, deemed it advisable to request a 2000 new sol loan from Edpyme Alternativa that will help her reach her goal.
