A loan of $3,550 helped a member to buy panettones, toys, stuffed toys and clothes.

Lucero Group's story

Juana is a member of the Lucero communal bank which is starting its 6th cycle with 15 members. She is 61 years old, married and has six children. Juana sells cosmetics and clothes (polo-type shirts, pants) on order that she brings from Juliaca. The loan she is asking for will be used to buy panettones (cakes consumed traditionally during the Christmas festivities), toys, stuffed toys and clothing for the Christmas sales season. She has been a member of FINCA for two cycles. She joined thanks to an invitation from a friend. She enjoys her communal bank meetings because there are talks on various subjects like: family, marriage, health and values and above all because she can save. Her dream is that the business grows and to be able to help her family.
