Gloria's story

Gloria is a member of the Communal Bank, "Azangarinas al Progreso", located in Azángaro district, in the province of Azángaro, in the Puno department. She is 30 years old and lives with her partner and 3 children. She began her Higher education but she did not finish it.

She has been working with the Movimiento Manuela Ramos for 1 year. Her first loan was for S/.300,00 Nuevos Soles. The money was used to increase her business capital, she sells meat and cattle, cheese and bread.

Gloria is applying for a new loan of S/.2500,00 Nuevos Soles, which she will invest in merchandise; she will buy meats and flour to make bread.

Her dream for the future is make repairs on her home and increase her stock in order to generate greater profits.

Her favourite thing about her Communal Bank is the return that she gets on her savings.
