Sop Sa Diekeur Group's story

The Sop Sa Diekeur solidarity group has been created at the opening of the Bank Villageois (Fogny2) to which it belongs. The group is composed of 13 women all living in the same neighborhood. They are neighbors and friends who decided to form a group together.

Mrs. Absa T., standing on the far left in the photo raising her hand, is the group’s leader. She is 31 years old. She is married and the mother of three. She also has her younger sister in her care.

She sells jewelry, fabrics, and perfums. She has been in this business for almost four years already. With her new loan, she is going to increase her merchandise stock in order to boost her revenues. She contributes to the everyday family expenses and also provides for her own personal needs.
