This Kiva borrower is a 27-year-old single woman living with her parents. She is from Lebanon. She has been working in a clothing shop in her town for five years. In 2008, she opened her own shop. With her business income, she helps her father who works as a farmer, to cover the family expenses. She displays women's and children's clothes in her shop. Today, she is requesting to borrow $1000 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l. to expand her store’s inventory of new collections. The diversity of her merchandise selection will help her increase her sales and therefore her income. In the future, she is hoping also to sell shoes in her store. Currently, she mostly sells clothes.
