Caltex Development Group, Mubende's story

N. Frister, age 44, belongs to the Caltex development group. Frister operates a tailoring business in which she makes and mends clothes in Kasenyi. In addition to tailoring, she also sells produce. From both businesses, she is able to earn 300,000/= in weekly profits. She and her husband have three children, two of whom are enrolled in school.

Frister is requesting a loan in order to be able to buy more clothing materials, both for to offer for sale and to use for making clothes that she will then sell. She is a hard-working and determined lady who was trained in the tailoring trade before starting on her business. Her dream is to continue educating her children and to be able to secure a permanent place in town from which to operate her business.
