Rubylyn's story

Rubylyn S. is from the village of Holy Friday. He is 29 years old. Rubylyn is married and has four school-aged children. To make a living, he plants and harvests rice to sell. He has been engaged in his business for over three years and earns approximately $143 a month for these activities.

In 2009, Rubylyn joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and ability to engage in business activities. He has successfully repaid a previous loan of 17,000 PHP from ASKI. This previous loan was used to purchase fertilizers such as manure.

Rubylyn is requesting a new loan of 22,000 PHP which again will be used to purchase fertilizers such as manure. This will be his 3rd loan from ASKI. He plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of his family.
