Mariana's story

Mrs. Mariana is a happy and dynamic person. She lives in the Villa Salome zone, which is located forty minutes from the center of the city. Mariana sells food and her specialty is “silpanchos” with eggs or grilled meat. She sells the meals only at night. One of her desires is to grow her business in order to sell lunch during the day. She has four children. The older three children are grown and have professions. She only lives with her youngest child who is still in school. Her husband travels to find work and because of this Mariana has to work to support their house. Mariana is a respectful and responsible person. With this money she will buy groceries such as rice, noodles, potatoes, and oil in order to make her delicious dishes. She is very thankful for the institution that provides this assistance.
