A loan of $800 helped increase her working capital and buy plastic chairs.

Yely Rosa's story

Señora Yely is 31 years old. She has lived in the La Guardia zone for 12 years. She is originally from Mairana Florida, and she came to Santa Cruz to find better times for her family.

For two years, she has had a business selling food in this area. As a second business, she sometimes sells cosmetics.

She has been a widow for 3 months. This was a hard blow for her, but she has moved forward for her two daughters, who are in primary school.

She will use the money from the loan to buy tables and chairs to expand her food stall, since she has more customers who come to enjoy her delicious dishes. She is a very hard-working person and is grateful to this institution for the support that they offer.
