Lazaro Senon
49 year old Lazaro drives a taxi in the streets of Guayaquil. He has a cane-built house with electricity and water that comes by tanker. His house is in a periurban area of the city called Paraíso De La Flor, which is in an area known for its dirt roads and mountains.
He used the redundancy pay that he got from a company where he worked to buy a car and convert it into a taxi. Now he works from 7:00am until 10:00pm, driving through the streets of Guayaquil and occasional beyond the city. One of the disadvantages of this job is having to work at night because there is much more crime at that time.
In order to be successful with his business, he wants to buy some spare parts and tires. In the future, he wants to buy another car and so increase his income so he can give his family a better quality of life.
