Mujeres Decididas E Independientes Group's story

Victoria is 40 years old and lives in Los Olivos district in Lima, Peru. She has 3 children and belongs to the “Mujeres Decididas e Independientes” (Determined and Independent Women) group. Her business is cosmetics sales. When she joined the group she only sold some brands of cosmetics but, thanks to the other members of the group who are also in the same business, she has learned more about the business and now she also sells products such as clothes, shoes and beauty accessories. This has increased her profits and she has thereby managed to support her children who are still in school. Her quality of life has also improved.

What Victoria most wants now is to have her own sewing workshop and to put into practice what she has studied. She would like to make sheets, curtains, tablecloths, etc. She will use her loan to buy fabrics so that she can start this new business. She will offer her new products to her existing customers.
