A loan of $1,075 helped buy farmland to grow coffee.

Mario's story

Mario, 48 years old, is married to Constanza, 54 years old. They have 8 children, but they only live with 7 of them, in their own house in the community of Sanchirio. They have lived in their community for 33 years, for which they feel fortunate. In all this time, according to Mario, he was able to get ahead together with his fellow residents, because most of them grow coffee. The efforts made by the residents for success and improvement is surprising. Now, together, they have opened a cooperative where they export their yield to France, the benefits of which not only help their families economically but also the community in general. But as a tireless worker, he also opened a grocery store some time ago, with which he is sure that he will be able to get ahead and generate more capital to increase his production. This is his fourth loan with MFP, and he is very happy to be able to work together with the members of his community bank, who are united and very responsible people. This is why he has already thought about investing the loan in the purchase of farmland, where he will be able to grow more coffee, which is currently generating good income for him.
