A loan of $4,000 helped a member to buy corn and gas.

Las Industriales Group's story

This photo was taken in Mrs Camerina Z. S.'s business where she hand makes tortillas. Camerina is a member of the “Las Industriales” group which is located in the Industrial district of the city of Tehuacan, in the State of Puebla, in Mexico. You can see the group to which Camerina belongs. The group's name is a reference to the district in which they meet. You can see the premises where Camerina prepares the tortillas which she sells. She started her business six years ago. Camerina is requesting a loan to buy corn and gas. Her customers like to buy from her because she sells for a good price and because her tortillas are good quality, as well as always being warm and hygienic. Her kindness and good service have increased her customer base.

At the moment of requesting this loan, Camerina feels happy and grateful for the trust which has been placed in her and her friends. She is 34 years old and studied up to the sixth year of elementary school. She is married and has two children, a girl and a boy aged 12 and 3. One of her family projects is to finish building her home.
