A loan of $350 helped buy a rickshaw.

Naseem's story

I am a mother of ten, six boys and four girls. I live with my family in a small town, Arifwala, Pakistan. I am a textile designer and I embroider clothes to order. My husband drives a rickshaw (local three-wheeled taxi). He bought his rickshaw by acquiring a loan from Asasah, a microfinance institution based in Pakistan. He repaid the loan installments on time leaving him with decent profits. Now my son has also learned to drive and I want to buy him a rickshaw as well. This way he will help us to manage our household expenses. I request a loan of US$350 for this purpose.
