Kuy's story

Kuy S., 52, is married and resides with her husband and eight children in Seim Reap Province, Cambodia, an area known for the Angkor Wat temples. S. refines rice wine, earning an income of about USD 12 per day. Her husband is a motor-taxi driver, earning an income of about USD 8 per day. S. has to spend USD 30 on food, USD 10 on electricity and water supplies, and USD 65 on other necessary expenses every month. S. is requesting a loan of USD 500 to purchase a motorbike for the family's use. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house. This is her fourth loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
