A loan of $375 helped purchase of materials to expand business making and selling clothing items.

Socorro Del Pilar's story

Socorro is 44-years-old. She is a single mother and has a son who is now independent. She lives with her mother and sisters in the village of Tejedores in the Tambogrande agricultural district, a zone in the Piura province in the region with the same name a little more than four hours from the city of Chiclayo, the capital of the Lambayeque region.
She works making and selling items of clothing. She makes these clothes along with her sisters in a workshop located in their home. The clothing that they make is sold in a nearby village and in the port of Paita (where her son works). The business helps to pay her expenses and support the family.
Socorro would like to expand her business with the purchase of more materials to continue making clothing and increase her sales. This is why she has found it convenient to request a loan of 1000 soles from Edpyme Alternativa that she plans to use to achieve her goal.
She is a very calm and responsible woman. Her main goal is to continue growing as an entrepreneur in order to gradually improve her quality of life.
